Besides employing many people from the nearby villages, we actively support our community. We've rebuilt a small school that had no electric or plumbing, and we are active supporters of CEPIA, a non-profit organization providing valuable life experiences to Costa Rican children.

In December of 2009 we hosted our 5th annual Children's Christmas Party which was held in our yoga ashram. Last year 47 children attended. Many of our staff members dressed as clowns, and we had the biggest piñata you've ever seen. Every child received a wrapped gift with their name on it specially chosen for their age and gender. This annual party gives Christmas a brand new meaning.

Coco is our new Chocolate Lab puppy, and he was born on February 25, 2010. True to his breed, he is already trying to climb into his water bowl. His "stay out of the swimming pool" training starts very soon !
