Do we need to rent a car?

It is not necessary to rent a car while you are staying with us. We have drivers available that will take you to the nearby beaches and towns. Or, we can have a rental car delivered here for you.

How do we get to your hotel if we are coming from another location in Costa Rica?

If you are driving, we will provide you with directions. We can pick you up if you are staying in a hotel in the Tamarindo area or within an hour’s drive. Otherwise you can fly into the Tamarindo airport or take a shuttle: the shuttle services we recommend are Interbus (www.interbusonline.com) and Grayline (www.graylinecostarica.com).

What is your cancellation policy?

We have a no-refund policy on the first night’s deposit we collect from you; however, your deposit will be credited in full for a future stay with us.

How many beds are in each room?

The poolside King room has one king bed that sleeps two which can be split into twins. Detached King has one king bed and sleeps 2. The poolside Queen room has one queen bed that sleeps two. The Eros Suite has one King bed and one pull out sofa bed. All rooms have AC.

We are traveling with children, can we come to your hotel?

Sorry, no children. We are a romantic getaway designed for adults only.

What kind of people stay at your hotel?

Our guests are usually couples on their honeymoon, anniversary or on a romantic getaway. Our primary guest demographic is 25-34, but people of all ages and from all walks of life choose us as a destination. (NFL, Hollywood, etc.)

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we accept all major credit cards (Mastercard, Visa and American Express).

Should we bring cash?

Although many places accept major credit cards, we do recommend you bring cash. US Dollars are accepted throughout Costa Rica. Also, there are several ATM machines and Banks that will cash traveler’s checks in town, so we will gladly drive you there if you do not wish to carry cash.

Are you on the beach?

No, we are located slightly inland on small mountain, with a beautiful view of the ocean and tropical forest. We are 15 minutes away from the nearest beach.

What should we bring?

You can travel light, because we offer complimentary laundry services. Swimsuits, clothes for warm weather, sandals, tennis shoes, sunblock . Our rooms have hairdryers.

What is your dress code?

We are casual. Sandals and shorts for everyday wear, casual chic for dinner!

Can you accommodate diet restrictions?

Yes, our Chef will discuss any diet restrictions you may have and adjust your menu accordingly.

Do we need a visa to get into Costa Rica?

No, you just need a valid passport that is not due to expire for at least 6 months.

Should we be concerned about diseases such as Malaria?

No. We do not have malaria or other contagious tropical diseases.
