WHAT OUR GUESTS ARE SAYING ABOUT US
Verifiedhk202016June 3, 2024.Mediocre service, dinner not what was advertised at their website and overpriced Room was excellent and clean ,pool area had a great view of the hills and forest,. Staff was laud at front and kitchen,so it was hard to take afternoon naps. Restaurant closed at 8 pm and all the staff left. Breakfast was cheaply presented and not similar to other high end hotelsVerifiedRoving63153764771April 26, 2024.10/10 Experience Enrique and Monica truly made our experience so extremely seamless. We didn't have to worry about a thing. The amenities were phenomenal and it was amazing to see the families of monkeys right there! Chef Javier also worked magic and we ate like royalty. We would happily book again.VerifiedINTUNE-ECFebruary 13, 2024.It met the high expectations! My wife and I stayed 4 nights in one of the suites, choosing the suite mainly to get the complimentary local transportation, which worked out well (we didn't have a car). The setting is gorgeous and we truly enjoyed the communal table for meals that we ate there. We met some great fellow travelers! Breakfasts were very good; one of our only overall suggestions would be to have more variety in the breakfasts. Chef Javier was excellent, as a chef and such a nice, caring person. We did the weekly cooking class with him. Managers Monica and Ari were outstanding! Monica helped us arrange our own day trip to Guaitil, for a wonderful experience shopping for pottery and having lunch at a local home. Ari is just the NICEST person! One minor downside was that the spa (massages, etc.) was more geared towards day visitors/groups than to hotel guests. Availability was extremely limited (another couple felt the same way). Massages must end by 4:00 unless you book the dinner package. No one did this while we were there, so the massage area went unused every day after 4. The hot tub was always available to hotel guests, so that was nice. We used the local transportation to go to Playa Avellenas and Tamarindo. Housekeeping was superb, they even found a perfect pillow for me. The location is pretty isolated, that's part of the beauty, but you need to know that in advance. Take your time, chill, and enjoy!VerifiedGrace LightFebruary 11, 2024.Stay for few or 7+ days at least once Very small, the picture is the entire resort. Feels like B&B or a family gathering. Picturesque scene, secluded, remote, very laid back, quiet yet spacious pool and common area for the hotel rooms. There were 3 pool rooms occupied (of 4 pool rooms and 2 upstairs suites) with 2 other couples during our stay and it was fantastic. Beautiful scenic view, I prefer ocean view or walking distance to ocean. I thought the hotel was in Tamarindo or closer. Rooms - well appointed, small pool room with bed and dresser (it was all we needed), one guest with sensitive skin mentioned she could use the body wash and products and didn’t have to use her special products she packed. Products were amazing!!!! We loved - outdoor shower, fresh fruit and juices every morning, snacks, local fresh food ingredients (fruit, veggies, meat), body wash / hand soap, screens on windows/doors for fresh air, safety and friendliness of all personnel. We didn’t love - distance from beach (27-30 minute one way ride to Tamarindo / other beach on some rough roads), inquire if transportation is included otherwise $40 round trip (a new policy change included for suites only resort honored old policy during our stay), limitation of meals (high quality just wish there was more selection), the food was cooked well but we really wanted more fish and seafood selections that’s hard with limited guest so I understand. The food was better than restaurants we visited in Costa Rica. At times I wasn’t clear on prices, time for snacks, when we could use the jacuzzi, or going into town. We arrived I asked to see the spa but it was occupied so we didn’t get a tour upon arrival. We didn’t see the spa until our treatments which was the last day of our stay and never used the jacuzzi. Another guest would use it night after spa services were finished. The spa area is even more beautiful than the pool view. There’s soothing running water, fairly large selection jewelry, purses, swims suits and clothing in the spa gift shop, secluded, tables for spa lunches. So when in doubt just ask. Gym - appropriate size for the resort and have enough weights and floor space for yoga / Zumba whatever. The WiFi is great so pop on a peloton or YouTube video do a workout of choice. Grace and Jessica - Massage - facial and body scrub Spa day - 3 options - Massage - facial and body scrub. Prices were reasonable similar to a US prices at a regular place. Services were very good, not best I’ve experienced but thorough. Plus we a masseuse guest get the massage and she said it was excellent, they massage the stomach and head correctly. Spa area is serene and the food is good. The lunch choice was chicken curry, poke bowl and another option. The chicken curry was good. People come all over for the spa service. Facial was an organic natural experience - differ from the typical US facial. I still enjoyed it. I’d get it again. Coffee vanilla scrub - coarse scrub that made my skin feel brand new. It was a strong coffee (smelled like cigarette tobacco - husband said it smelled like strong coffee). Spa area is beautiful, sounds of running water and the vegetation. Liked that the environment was considered and they use reusable plastic covers that can be washed and reused rather than plastic thrown away. Food: Good chef, food was fresh, tasty, well prepared but not want we wanted. We would have preferred an options for dinner rather than 1 dinner option but that’s difficult given the resort size. We prefer seafood. There’s one dinner option per night and they do consider and substitute for allergies. managers would provide the chefs menu each for couples decide if will join. It’s a 27-30 minute bumpy ride to Tamarindo to eat elsewhere which got exactly there and back. The snack menu is absolutely delicious, we enjoyed the shrimp tacos, plantains Breakfast - 8:30 am - 9:30 am Lunch - 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm Dinner - 6:00 pm - 7:00 pmVerifiedHeather OFebruary 8, 2024.Everything promised and more... We had a lovely experience Los Altos De Eros Boutique Hotel & Spa. The hotel was even more beautiful than the pictures. The food was amazing and I can't say enough about how wonderful and helpful the staff were. They ensured our vacation was just perfect! The spa was also incredible... what a beautiful and relaxing setting for a couples massage. I can truly say this was a magical stay!VerifiedJames Marc MFebruary 7, 2024.Magnifico! If you are planning to stay remotely near this spot and reading this, look no more. My wife and I enjoyed a 7 night stay. Absolute bliss! Not only are the scenic views majestic, the staff are like old friends you have stumbled upon. Monica, Ari, and Enrique (to name a few) ensure you are comfortable and taken care of throughout the stay without missing the slightest detail. In addition to those things, the food is insanely tasty and filling (mucho gracias, Javier and team!). Even if you don’t stay here, visit the spa and you will not be disappointed! Pura vida!VerifiedPam AFebruary 1, 2024.Paradise in Costa Rica This is an awesome hotel spa. The rooms are very comfortable, beds and pillows are plush and soft. The outdoor shower is delightful. We enjoyed the meals from breakfast, lunch and dinner, we were able to experience all. We did have massages and I believe it was the best most relaxing massage I have ever experienced. This is very comfortable and relaxing experience and I would 100% recommend if you are looking to relax and be pampered the entire time. The view is amazing , pictures do not come close to actually seeing it. You cannot go wrong with choosing this hotel.VerifiedFarAway599508January 2, 2024.Perfect! I am the type of person who doesn't typically stay at the same hotel over and over unless it's for business travel as I like to have new experiences when I travel for fun. I will absolutely make an exception for LADE though. I've gone to Costa Rica multiple times and this is hands down the best hotel I've stayed in. The staff are wonderful, the room and amenities were top notch (love the open air gym overlooking the jungle!) and the food was incredible. Thanks to Monica and Audrey for ensuring all the little details were taken care of every day and Chef Javier for some of the best meals I've had anywhere. Will definitely be back!VerifiedJohnna SDecember 31, 2023.A Slice of Heaven The photos don’t quite show the beauty and peace of this place. We were looking for 6 days of relaxation and LADE delivered! The food is amazing and they were super accommodating and creative with my gf and df diet. Chef Javier is simply amazing! We are not typical spa people but this is an experience not to miss! The pool is refreshing, the howler monkeys and sunsets spectacular. We enjoyed working out in the outdoor spaces too! The outdoor shower adds to the romance. We don’t often repeat visits but I know we will be back!VerifiedRockwell DDecember 5, 2023.I know why they call it The Heavens of Eros! This was my first Spa experience and the other customers there said I was starting at the Top! it was just a great experience, we went for a "couples experience" and were treated like gold! Elky was my masseuse and she was beyond any expectation, she was so good and caring it was just an incredible experience. The facilities were fantastic. Great place! Thank you.Load more
