Los Altos de Eros has been synonymous with luxury and tranquility since 2004 when it was founded. Our goal is to provide tourists and locals with a traditional Costa Rican jungle experience rooted in comfort and leisure. Since then, we have proudly provided our guests with the extravagance of a getaway in paradise, married with the authenticity of the natural beauty found throughout Costa Rica. The key to our success has been our focus on working with and for the community that makes everything we do at Los Altos de Eros possible.
Sustainability has always been at the forefront of our process. Both for the pristine environment that makes our boutique hotel unique and for the community around which we operate. These ingredients are necessary for the recipe of our vision to be possible and brought into reality. Equipt with that undeniable truth, we strive to keep our community thriving so you can have the most satisfying and rewarding Costa Rican experience.
To achieve these goals, we work with several local organizations, including ADIT, CEPIA, Halfway Home, and The Clean Wave – all of which are determined to keep our area healthy, happy, clean, and safe. Additionally, we work closely with the communities surrounding our hotel to give back to those who work so hard to ensure your stay with us is as perfect as you imagined.
With this in mind, we want to proudly promote these organizations that work tirelessly to keep our region of Guanacaste beautiful and accommodating. Because when you provide for your local community, they provide for you. And with our community, we are able to give you the standards of quality expected from Los Altos de Eros.

Our Team
We are honored to be part of the solution that creates a positive environment. Highlighted by our staff, comprised entirely of Costa Ricans from our local neighborhoods, some of whom have been with us for over 15 years. ORGANIZATIONS
A non-governmental, non-profit community group whose objective is to connect and unite this multicultural community and advance Tamarindo’s infrastructural, economic, social, and environmental development.
We are a nationally accredited Costa Rican non-profit focusing on the promotion of culture, educational and labor opportunities, mental and physical health, and the social cohesion of children and families.
A grassroots organization whose efforts are to contain the dog and cat population in and around Tamarindo, Costa Rica. We are 100% volunteer-based and rely on the community to support and to help manage the facility.
We focus on energizing and enabling our communities to be empowered to make meaningful impacts and zero-waste commitments through our beach clean-up events and through developing community projects.
