We have a massive list of things to do and excursions to book, and wanted to highlight a few of our favorites.

Surf Lessons on Tamarindo Beach
Just down the hill from us is the stunning Tamarindo Beach, and there is no better place to learn to surf. We offer both beginner and experienced surf lessons. These 2 hour lessons are designed to get everyone up onto a wave before the end of their first lesson and are super fun. All of the instructors are qualified instructors and speak English. This is a perfect way to get outside and try something new!

Afternoon Catamaran Sailing Tour
Enjoy the breeze in your hair as you chill with a cold drink served by the crew as you scan the seas for dolphins, sea turtles, flying fish or even a breaching whale. Stop in a tranquil bay to drop anchor and snorkel in the refreshing Pacific. There is perhaps no chiller activity in Costa Rica, and this one certainly can’t be missed.
Includes: Snorkeling, paddle boarding, all you can eat and you can drink

Horseback Riding
Guanacaste is steeped in the history of farms, ranches and cowboys, so a horseback ride along the beach is a perfect way to embrace this local tradition. Start with the beauty of the tropical, dry forest with it’s stunning flora and fauna. Follow by a ride through small towns, where you will be able to enjoy great views, talk to locals, and observe how they live and work. The last part of the ride is on the most beautiful white sand beaches, ending in the famous Conchal Beach. A perfect way to get outside and into nature.

Arenal Volcano All Day Tour
One of the most popular activities in Costa Rica is a visit to Arenal Volcano. This adventure will make you feel like you are part of the jungle. Walking through the rain forest at the base of the volcano and getting glimpses of Costa Rica’s most sought after wildlife. After your trek, you’ll be able to take a dip into the therapeutic volcanic hot springs. This adventure can’t be missed.

Reina’s Chocolate
At Reina’s Chocolates, the cacao is roasted in-house and currently purchased from three local farms. Over the course of 3 hours, you will get a history of cacao, the plan; and chocolate, the food. You will have at least 4 different beverages during the workshop, a lot of chocolate, make 3 bars of your own and tour the production facilities! You will learn how to taste chocolate professionally while sampling the many varieties of chocolate. A must-do adventure for any foodie or chocolate lover.
