Guanacaste is steeped in the history of farms, ranches and cowboys, so a horseback ride along the beach is a perfect way to embrace this local tradition. Start with the beauty of the tropical, dry forest with it’s stunning flora and fauna. Follow by a ride through small towns, where you will be able to enjoy great views, talk to locals, and observe how they live and work. The last part of the ride is on the most beautiful white sand beaches, ending in the famous Conchal Beach. A perfect way to get outside and into nature.

After your trek, you’ll be able to take a dip into the therapeutic volcanic hot springs. This adventure can’t be missed.

At Reina’s Chocolates, the cacao is roasted in-house and currently purchased from three local farms. Over the course of 3 hours, you will get a history of cacao, the plan; and chocolate, the food. You will have at least 4 different beverages during the workshop, a lot of chocolate, make 3 bars of your own and tour the production facilities! You will learn how to taste chocolate professionally while sampling the many varieties of chocolate. A must-do adventure for any foodie or chocolate lover.
